About Us

We Always Deliver Quality Service

The Pierce Family of Canton, TX has been in the automobile business since 1945. My great grandfather, Leon Pierce, opened a small garage and service station on Highway 64 just east of Canton that would soon turn into a wrecking yard and parts business called ‘Red Hill Wrecking’. Leon Pierce was also involved in dirt track racing in the late 1940’s - early 1950’s.

The business turned into a family affair through the years. Leon’s oldest son, Virgil, spent many days working along side his father and actually started driving the wrecker on the grounds at the age of seven. Through the years, Virgil’s younger brother Dale, and other family members, worked at Red Hill and helped out in the family business. Virgil loved cars as much as his father and being in high school in the mid 1950’s, Red Hill was the hot spot for Canton high schoolers to work on their cars, soup up their engines, and just hangout.

Virgil was always buying and selling cars and in the early 1980’s he opened a car lot at the corner of Highway  64 and 19 in downtown Canton. Leon, although retired, was also around to lend a hand or tell a story or two. The business was called ‘Pierce Classics’ and from that point moving forward, Virgil made a name for himself becoming known nationally as a classic car dealer delivering quality and unique classic cars across the country.

His three sons, Kevin, Kyle, and Kirk also spent time working and enjoying the business with him, experiencing endless road trips to swap meets and going all over the country buying and selling. Virgil was known for his love of classic cars and for making honest deals. Virgil never met a stranger and always enjoyed talking to people about cars. He could work any kind of trade, and he would spend hours working a deal if he really wanted something. Virgil also loved the 1950’s and would collect any memorabilia from that time period.

Although Virgil has slowed down the past few years, as Virgil’s grandson I have also caught the bug. I enjoy buying, selling and collecting classic cars and select vintage memorabilia. That brings us to where we are today. My father, Kyle, and I have decided to keep ‘Pierce Classics’ and the tradition rolling. We buy, sell, and trade classic cars as well as select vintage memorabilia and we would love to do business with you and hear your stories.
